Abstract:Using the Fluent15 software, the internal 3D flow field of the dense scrubber from the 210m2 sintering flue gas desulphurization equipment in Tang steel was simulated with k- ε model and SIMPLE algorithm. Simulation analysis showed that when the flue gas entrance angle is 16°, the turbulent region in the middle of the dense tower was larger, the turbulent motion of flue gas was intense, and the distribution of the flue gas velocity was uniform, which was conducive to improving the desulfurization efficiency. There were smaller clockwise and counterclockwise region of turbulent flow in the upper and lower region, and the turbulent motion was violent, so as to enhances the mixing flue gas with desulfurization agent and improve the removal efficiency.
