Abstract:According to the big inertia of new No.1 BF and in BX steel and other modern huge blast furnaces, two hearth activity quantitative calculation models were put forward based on the analysis and research of traditional hearth activity calculation models, which the blast furnace hearth working activity index optimization model and the blast furnace hearth activity index optimization model. The off- line calculations of the models were realized and practiced in the production of new No.1 BF in BX by the technologies of data acquisition, processing and programming, which can make hearth activity quantitative calculation come true. Practice has proven that the calculation results of the models could truly reflect the hearth activity and effectively help foremen better grasp the blast furnace hearth activity in real time. the hearth activity was becoming declining and abnormal, the foremen could find out it and make the correct operating intervention as early as possible, which could timely avoid all the losses caused by the deterioration of hearth activity. There fore, the models were playing important roles in the aspects of keeping blast furnace good hearth activity and long- term stability.
