Abstract:With the advancement of science and technology, modern blast furnace technology has been fully developed. However, from the perspective of resources, energy and environment, blast furnace ironmaking system is still facing severe pressure. Sintering, coking, blast furnace energy consumption and pollution are not optimistic. The important methods of energy saving and emission reduction involved iron raw material, fuel and blast furnace system in domestic and foreign ironmaking system are introduced, such as sinter flue gas desulfurization, CDQ technology, TRT power generation technology, oxygen blast furnace- gas self recycling technology and comprehensive utilization of slag high quality materials. Their main role in energy saving and emission reduction of ironmaking system are also given. Through this research, the development direction of energy saving and emission reduction in BF are proposed.
