Abstract:There were 3(the rated power was 2 400 kW)variable frequency motor in the Chongqing Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd. The energy consumption was 40 million degrees every year. While ensure the on-site production of environmental protection, great energy consumption was caused. Through following up the production process in front of furnace,analyzing the energy consumption of the dusting motor,and adjusting the fan frequency many times based on the actual production process,a new frequency conversion technology of the dusting fan in front of furnace was established. It cannot only ensure meeting the standard of environmental protection,but also greatly reduce the cost of power,which can provide a strong guarantee for the energy conservation and environment protection of the blast furnace production.
