Abstract:The working principle of ladle slide plate was described. From the view of practical application, the performance requirements of steelmaking process for ladle slide and the various factors affecting the use of ladle skateboard were analyzed. The damage mechanism of skateboards brick was described, and the improvement and optimization can be conducted from the raw materials and material property of the skateboard brick and the actual operation. And the relevant technical operating essentials were put forward. The results showed that the skateboard brick had been raised from 3 heats to 4 heats, which could lay a theoretical foundation for the further stabilization and improvement of skateboard life in the future.
