Abstract:Remarkable results have been achieved since the whole covering technology and process of 210 t ladle were put into operation in No.2 steelmaking plant of Qiansteel. The average tapping temperature has been reduced by 10 ℃ and the utilization rate of turnover ladle has been kept above 85% for a long time. The online baking of ladle has been canceled, the gas consumption has been reduced, the cleanliness of ladle has been effectively guaranteed and the life of ladle lining has been increased. Practice showed that the whole ladle capping process was an advanced technology of energy saving, environmental protection and consumption reduction. Remarkable economic benefits have been obtained for the No.2 steelmaking of Qiansteel. However, in a period of time, the operation stability of the process was poor. Through the induction and analysis of the field production data, the factors affecting the addition and uncovering of the ladle were found out, and the control measures were formulated. At the same time, the working principle and main equipment must be mastered in order to improve the operation stability.
