Abstract:Splash in steelmaking process is a common hazard,which divided into metal splash, foaming slag splashing and explosive splash. The key to control BOF splash is to control oxygen lance position, so reasonable oxygen lance position in the whole process of blowing is particularly important. According to the actual situation into production in Laiwu Steel 90t combined blown converter, research was undertaken from early, mid and late stage of blowing about the reason of splash. The main application measure to control oxygen lance position control by optimizing the process that make appropriate slag aggregate (FeO) content,which can effectively reduces splashing.And reasonable oxygen lance position picture is summed,which is available for producers as reference.
