Differentiation Analysis for Weld Wire Rod’s Chemical Composition Deviation

Abstract:By way of a test plan which was drew up in advance, it makes the wire rod’s chemical composition as the only basic contrast role, and compares the test deviations of C, Si and Mn compositions between the wire rod and its steel billet, the wire rod and its tundish steel liquid, taking all kinds of random factors into consideration. The normal distribution theory has been introduced into the analyzing process. The composition deviation has been analyzed in detail, and the range of deviation between the two kins of tests has been induced. Based on the statistics results, rules of the subtle composition deviation between the tundish liquid and steel billet have also been induced, providing the reference basis for the accurate control of composition of wire rod.
