Abstract:In order to further reduce the cost of pig iron and improve the economic efficiency of large sized blast furnace, considering the current situation of continuous deterioration of the quality of raw material and fuel of No.2 2500m3 sized blast furnace at Masteel, a series of technical measures, such as recycling the small coke, strengthening management of charging material, improving coal injection quality, optimizing adjustment of upper and lower parts of blast furnace, stabilizing hot metal temperature and improving slag system, applying high blast temperature operation combined with oxygen enrichment and pulverized coal injection, adopting high blast furnace top pressure operation, and strengthening the furnace type management were taken to optimize the manufacturing process. As a result, the coke rate was significantly decreased to 320kg/t. Comparing with 2012, the coke rate decreased by 60~70kg/t under the similar condition of fuel ratio. Meanwhile, the blast furnace utilization coefficient was stabilized at 2.40t/ (m3·d).
