Abstract:Transient analysis of heat transfer and fluid flow in Continuous Casting tundish during series casting has been conducted using coupled heat transfer and flow calculation. The thermal loss, temperature distributing and fluid flow of liquid steel in tundish during 5 heats series casting were investigated, which provides a theoretical basis and guidance for plant operation and optimizing technics.
