The structrue and property of product was improved by taking full advantage of TMCP technology based on thin slab continuous casting and rolling process in Tonghua Iron & Steel Co,.Ltd. In this project, the consumption of alloy was reduced significantly, due to the manganese content decreased from 1.10% to 0.45%. And the problem of serious banded structure in steel plate produced by original process was solved through the titanium microalloying technology. Hot rolled steel plate produced by this process had excellent low temperature impact property. The project improves quality at low cost, and has a widely application prospect.
