Abstract:A coupling thermal, mechanical and microstructure finite element model had been developed by using FEM simulation technique. The results of temperature, stress and microstructure were calculated about three kinds of cooling pattern on the runout table. The simulation results showed that sparse cooling could improve the temperature uniform in depth, the wrap deflection could be decreased by the even cooling on the upper and down surface, the microstructures and properties could be controlled under different cooling routes. The result offered theoretical basis for ideal shape, microstructure and properties.
