Abstract:The mathematical model of combustion zone in foreside of tuyeres of oxygen blast furnace was established on the basis of material balance and energy balance according to the gas film mass transfer control theory. The concentration field and temperature field of gas components in the combustion zone were simulated at different air blast rate and oxygen humidity. The simulation results show that the gas temperature and concentration distribution of the combustion zone can be adjusted by the air blast rate, and the oxygen blast furnace cohesive zone shape and gas flow rate can also be regulated. The increasement of oxygen humidity can reduce the theoretical flame temperature in front of the tuyere and increase the H2 content of the reduction gas.
