Abstract:For enhancing the qualified ratio of Ultrasonic flaw detection on Q345B steel plate of 20-60mm,the samples from steel plate disqualified by ultrasonic inspection were observed with the aim of microscopes, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum.The results showed that there are banded MnS ,elements aggregation of Mn ,bainite in the center of the plate, the rarefaction and tiny crack is the main reason of isqualification.The flaw detection qualified rate is enhanced from 65.8%to 91.7% by improving the steelpurity degree, changing the inclusion form, controlling the casting temperature and speed, increasing the quantity of cooling and, minishing the element content of Mn, making use of Ga-Si wire, cooling slow of casting and plate , extending the pyrogenation of casting, rolling in small quantity for last four times,and so on.
