Abstract:Aiming at the situation that the calorific value of blast furnace gas is reduced greatly, satisfactory results of improving product quality, increasing product yield and reducing production costs have been achieved through the equipments modification and technologies improvement for gas-burning lime shaft-kiln in the Calcination Plant at SISG. By increasing the height of kiln roof and improving kiln top structure, the temperature of the kiln roof is significantly reduced, thereby protecting the kiln top facilities and improving the thermal characteristics of the kiln. Gas supply technology and equipments were improved, which increases the pressures of air and blast furnace gas into the kiln and speeds up the blast furnace gas mixed with air and combustion rate. The application of double preheating technology greatly increases the temperature in the kiln. The production conditions of lime kiln are improved by optimizing the size ratio of raw materials and modifying the charging and discharging processes.
