Abstract:Aiming at the problem of high CO mass fraction in sintered flue gas, the sinter cup test method was used to add different kinds of additives. The influence of additives on the CO mass fraction in sintered flue gas and its metallurgical properties was studied. The test results showed that after adding No.1 to No.4 additives, the CO mass fraction in the sintering flue gas is reduced by 29.60%, 27.44%, 17.30% and 14.98%,respectively compared with the reference sample. Among them, the additive No.1, which plays the role of strengthening sintering and oxidation, and the additive No.2, which plays the role of catalytic oxidation, have better effects. Adding additives can improve metallurgical properties of sintered ore while reducing CO mass fraction in the sintering flue gas. Especially after adding No.1 and No.2 additives, the drum index of sintered ore is increased by 3.00% and 1.66%, respectively, and the yield rate was increased by 2.55% and 3.08%, respectively, compared with the reference sample.
