Abstract:Automatic combustion is the development trend of rolling reheating furnace in the future. The No.4 heating furnace of 1 580 mm hot rolling production line was put into production in 2017, in order to improve the automatic control level of the reheating furnace to realize automatic heating of slab, the pulsed combustion program and automatic slab temperature control model. Through pulse combustion, the rapid response of furnace temperature and good temperature uniformity of slab length were realized. Through the function optimization of the temperature control model, the optimal temperature-rise curve has been worked out for each type of steel, and the automatic control of slab temperature is realized. The main functions of the pulse combustion system and the model control module of the No.4 heating furnace in the 1 580 mm production line were described, and some methods for program optimization were proposed, which can improve the heating quality of slab and reduce the energy consumption.
