Abstract:In the process of plate rolling, due to the inhomogeneous deformation of the slab at the end of length and width directions, the plane shape of the rolled steel plate is generally notrectangular, resulting in the increase of the cut amount of head, tail and edge of the steel plate, which seriously affects the yield of the medium and heavy plates. Based on the plastic deformation characteristics under the conditions of different slab size and width ratio, as well as the premise of the constant load of the rolling mill and the hardware configuration of the hydraulic system, the "dumbbell" rolling method of the rolled piece is used to control the plane shape. Through the accurate calculation model of length and the correction method of slip factor, the precise tracking of the rolling length can be realized, and the more refined plane shape control curve can be obtained by the multipoint setting method. The final product can meet the requirements of the optimization of the amount of the head cutting and tail cutting. After the "dumbbell" rolling method was put into practical use, the overall finished product rate was increased by 0.59% on average compared with the conventional rolling method.
