Abstract: In order to solve the problems of low density and high porosity of dry aggregates used in the production of carbon anodes in some enterprises, which ultimately led to the poor performance indexes of carbon anodes, the orthogonal test was established by determining the level and factors of dry aggregates formulation. As well as, the experimental results were compared with the dry aggregates formulation of the industrial application at the current stage to optimize the dry material formulation. The results showed that the formulations A1, A2, A3 had high tap density and were in line with the actual production situation. This formulation was mainly suitable for the largescale updating of equipment or modification of silos due to the actual production, and solved some production problems. The formulation can increase the mechanical density of the carbon anode and increase the mechanical strength, and had obvious effects on the carbon anode lifting.
