Application of Online Thickness Monitoring Technology for Blast Furnace Stack

A technology about monitoring and measuring the thickness of the blast furnace is studied. The composition and testing area of the thickness measuring system on the furnace is not only introduced, but the fundamental and features of the technology is also described. In the study, the returning echo is analyzed, so the method that the wave shapes of the returning echo is used for estimation the thickness of the blast furnace is established. Finally, the research productions are applied in the many blast furnaces, and the results of the monitoring thickness is analyzed and summed up.
