The microstructure and texture in DP590 dual phase steel through different process were studied respectively by means of field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and electron back-scatter diffraction (EBSD). The results show that the microstructure have a large change from hot rolling and cold rolling to continuous annealing process; block ferrite and a spot of pearlite of hot rolled was transformed into ferrite and a spot of martensite, which grain size reduced from 8 micrometers to 6 micrometers. The texture also have a large change from hot rolling and cold rolling to continuous annealing process; rotated cube texture are weakened gradually, but its extent smaller, and the corresponding(001)<110> grains were reduced gradually; the disadvantageα texture enhanced first and then weakened, which the orientation density of the strongest component(112)<110> reach to biggest at cold rolling stage; and the corresponding(112)<110> grains increased first and then decreased; the advantageγ texture increased gradually, which the orientation density of the strongest component(111)<112> reach to biggest at continuous annealing stage, and(111)<110> and(111)<112> grains also increased gradually, but (111)<112> grains are more than(111)<110> grains.
