Abstract:An experimental investigation on agglomeration with rolling dust has been done for environmental friendly utilization. The results show that as the rolling dust proportion increases from 0% to 3%, the dropping strength and compression strength of green ball and compression strength of baking ball decrease with a fixed bentonite; on the other hand, three index mentioned above are improved with a growing bentonite content, and the product pellets’ compression strength and expanding rate increase with a decreasing rolling dust proportion. Finally it was suggested that the rolling dust is not used in agglomeration process.
