Abstract:In the condition of sinter mix materials used presently in Shijiazhuang iron and steel Co., laboratory tests were conducted to search the suitable basicity of sinters. The basicity tested has three gradient levels of 1.8,2.1 and 24.The results show that sinter quality gets better with increase of basicity. As the rising of basicity, the softmelt property, the granularity of sinter and its antipulverization in lowtemperature reduction are obviously improved. The complex index of sinter is the best at basicity of 2.1.
