Abstract:In the plate rolling process, the change of plate temperature field can not be simulated accurately. Aiming at the disadvantage that the error of the traditional temperature model is large, a new temperature correction model is developed. This model uses the measured values of the last rolled pass, such as values of pyrometer, measured roll force etc, to correct the current plate temperature field. And the corrected plate temperature is used to adjust the gap setup values. Application of this model indicates that precision of roll force and exit thickness are greatly improved.
