Abstract:With the progressing of energy saving and environment protection work in steel entorprises, the energy saving and emission reduction potential of the process itself is limited. While the requirement of environment protection is stricter, the pressure of environment protection cost is higher. Thus, research on coordinated emission reduction of poly-generation process based on reuse and higher value application of waste has become more and more valued. Centered on steel manufactory process, typical metallurgy-building material-chemical engineering poly-generation processes were studied based on the reuse and higher value application of wastes such as slags, gases and by-products of environment protection. The energy saving and emission reduction effect of these poly-generation processes were analyzed, compared with individual processes, poly-generation processes research put forward a new idea for steel enterprise to save energy and reduce emission.
