Abstract:In order to study the effect of intensive mixing process on the sintering of fine concentrate powder,as for the sintering with super fine-grained concentrate in TISCO,the influence of intensive mixing on granulating effect and sintering index was studied systematically. The results indicated that compared with the traditionally drum-dominated mixing and granulation process,applying the intensive mixing strengthened the uniform distribution of moisture and raw materials,which remarkably reduce the suitable pelletizing water and improved the granulation effect. The mechanical strength of granules achieved an improvement as well,which benefited the reduction of dust in the flue gas. As for the material structure used in TISCO,proper mixing and granulation process with the intensive mixing was drum mixing + intensive mixing + drum granulation. Under this process,the sintering speed and productivity were obviously increased,and the whole sintering performance were improved.
