The causes of the headprint defect were analyzed and filtered, and the coiling tension, coil temperature, limit switch position, hard core coiling process, presetting pressure of the belt hydraulic system were determined to bekey factors. By controlling the coil temperature within 45 ℃, carrying out microloop, unbuilding tension in the first 3 laps, smoothly building tension to improve head print defects, developing process parameters through a series of tack tests, continuously optimizing and solidifying process parameters through batch tests, the average length of the head print defect was reduced from 88.7 to 34.2 m, and the lead print defect decreased significantly.
