Abstract: In order to clarify the influence factors of the pore characteristics of the sintered bonded phase, the porosity of the sintered bonded phase was measured by mineral phase microscopy, and the main factors affecting the porosity of the bonded phase were studied by visual microsintering method, and then the influence law of the porosity on the strength of the bonded phase itself was explored. The results showed that the porosities of ironbearing minerals from large to small were magnetite > limonite > hematite. When the ratio of fixed CaO was 15%, the porosity first increased and then decreased with the increase of SiO2 content, and decreased as the Al2O3 content increased. And the strength of the bonding phase decreased with increasing the porosity.
