Abstract:In order to better analyze the vitrinite reflectance of coking coal and its distribution map, the morphology and characteristics of vitrinite reflectance distribution of various mixed coal were described, and a method that directly identified the gap in the vitrinite reflectance distribution map was proposed. The functions of various blended coal in coal blending were analyzed. The natural simple non-gap mixed coal was regarded as single coal seam coal. The blended coal of the same rank with one gap was regarded as simple non-gap mixed coal. The blended coal of the natural adjacent rank with one gap was deemed to be a transitional coal type between two adjacent ranks. The blended coal of the interphase rank with one gap had poor adaptability, which would lead to fluctuation of coke quality. The blended coal of two or more gaps was mostly prepared manually, and its poor adaptability had certain harm to coal blending for coking. During the development and introduction of new resources, the suitability of various blended coal with the existing coal blending system should be investigated.
