Abstract:According to the problem of strip warp defects widely existing in continuous annealing production, the mechanical model of strip warp was established based on the mechanism that the warp was caused by the inhomogeneity of strip longitudinal elongation in the thickness direction to obtain the relationship of the difference between the upper and lower surface elongation to warping size. And it was pointed out that it was the single-roll drive of temper mill that caused the difference between the upper and lower surface elongating. In order to solve the problems of strip warp during the continuous annealing production, the finite element model(FEM) of continuous annealing and temper rolling process was established. Influences of roller diameter difference, axis eccentricity and friction coefficient on difference of surface extension was simulated. On this basis, the countermeasures aiming to control the strip warp by decreasing the inhomogeneity of the elongation in thickness direction were proposed. After repeatedly optimized and adjusted in continuous annealing line, the countermeasures were applied in the actual production, which can significantly improve the strip warp defects and create remarkable economic efficiency.
