Abstract:The effects of composition and grain size of pulverized coal injection into BF on combustion performance are tested by means of homemade coal combustion measurement instrument. The test result shows that effects of composition of pulverized coal on combustion performance is grand. With the content of ash increasing, burning time of coal increase and burning time of coal become short as the content of volatile increasing. The effect of grain size of coal on combustion performance is large. The smaller the coal grain size is, the quicker the burning speed of pulverized coal will be. Burning time is shortest when coal grain size under 0.071 mm, But the distinction with coal grain size 0071~010 mm and 010~020 mm is small. Burning time is increaed markedly when coal grain size upper 020 mm, It is a division at 020 mm.
