Abstract:Effect of argon bubbling technology on flow field in tundish is studied based on finite element analysis software. The results indicate that setting porous permeable bricks between the injected flow and weir can facilitate the removing of inclusions. It is ascertained that the flow performance of fluid in tundish is the best and can enhance the quality of the molten steel when the porous permeable bricks are 700 mm far away from the center of the gate and the gas content is 7 L/min.
