Exploitation and Application of Audio Frequency Slag Melting in150 t Combined Blowing Converter

Abstract:The technique of audio frequency slag melting has been exploited for top and bottom combined blown converter in 150 t combined blowing converter of Tangshan Iron and Steel Company. It quantifies and grades the operation of converter blowing on audio frequency curve. The use of this technology reduces the slag slopping and slag drying happening, improves the effect of slag melting on the converter smelting process, increases the rate of one time carbon from 45% to 66%, shortens oxygenblowing cycle from 4115 minutes to 3731 minutes, therefore, the level of converter smelting has been improved greatly.
