Progress and paths of energy saving and carbon reduction of Fujian Sanming Steel Group

Abstract:The excellent achievements of energy saving and carbon reduction during the 13th Five-Year Plan period of Fujian Sanming Steel Group were systematically summarized in this paper. The measures and effects of material structure adjustment, reduction of blast furnace fuel ratio, secondary energy recovery, high value utilization of gas and system energy saving of Sanming Steel Group were also analyzed. By promoting structural energy conservation, technological energy conservation and management energy conservation, the energy efficiency level of Sanming Steel had been comprehensively improved. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the iron-steel ratio decreased by 0.2, the blast furnace fuel ratio decreased by 21.66 kg/t, the comprehensive energy consumption decreased by 1.30%, and the CO2 emission per ton of steel decreased by 4.98%. The carbon reduction plan of Sanming Steel Group is also introduced in this paper, which provides reference for the green and low-carbon development of other steel enterprises.
