Abstract:The steelmaking plant of Shanghai Meishan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. carried out research on different manufacturing processes around the intelligent manufacturing. In the four processes, including the hot metal pretreatment process, converter smelting, secondary refining and continuous casting, combined with the production operation, the modeling, intelligent and automated intelligent manufacturing technology was developed, and the better application of practical results were achieved. In the hot metal pretreatment process, the one- key desulfurization model research was performed, and the aim of one- key desulfurization operation was achieved. Then the intelligent research on the determination of grilled molten iron slag was carried out, and the intelligent determination of the slag removal process was achieved, which replaced the artificial determination of the slag grade. In the converter area, the converter smelting model was studied, and the one- key steelmaking smelting control was achieved, which resulted in the more stable control of the converter end point and the blowing rate of 1% or less. In the refining process, the alloy model was studied, and the application of alloy mode played an important role in reducing the total cost of the alloy and improving the control accuracy of molten steel composition. In the continuous casting process, a comprehensive research on automatic casting steel was conducted, and the no- pouring steel control technology was achieved, which greatly improved the efficiency of labor.
