Abstract:A large number of iron bearing dust, continuous casting cutting slag and steel slag were produced in steel making and continuous casting process. These iron compounds were used in the converter to reduce the emission and pollution, which caused the fluctuation of the converter process operation and the increase of the consumption of the iron and steel materials in some furnaces. Through the "leave slag+double slag" process, the general converter process was divided into two stages on the basis of leaving slag. And by controlling the bottom blowing in the blowing process, the splash reduced significantly. After optimizing the existing operation process, the consumptions of the iron and steel materials and slag were substantially reduced, which significantly decreased the production costs of the converter steelmaking.
