Abstract:Due to the reduction of KR desulfurization agent consumption can effectively reduce the cost of desulfurization, aiming at the limitation of the existing KR desulfurization device, studied a method of reducing KR desulfurization agent consumption. By improving the conveying mode of desulfurizer, the desulfurizer can be fully contacted with the liquid iron surface, and the utilization rate of the desulfurizer can be improved. The KR desulfurization device of 180 t converter was improved in accordance with these measures, and carried out a 7 months test. The test results showed that after the improvement of KR desulfurization device, the agent consumption of desulfurizer was decreased by about 20%, and the temperature drop of iron melt was reduced, so that the cost of iron melt desulphurization was reduced by about 1.35 yuan/t, and the energy consumption of steelmaking was reduced.
