Abstract:In order to obtain good comprehensive performance of the stainless steel clad plate for bridge,thermal mechanical control process was used to produce the stainless steel clad plate 316L+Q370qD used for bridge,and the microstructures and properties of this stainless steel clad plate were investigated by means of metallographic microscope,scanning electron microscope(SEM),tensile,impact,bend,shear and intergranular corrosion tests. The results showed that the complete metallurgical combination without voids,cracks,large particle precipitates and inclusions was found in the interface of the stainless steel clad plate 316L+Q370qD. The yield strength of the stainless steel clad plate was between 421 and 446 MPa,and the elongation was between 24% and 28%. The average of longitudinal impact absorption energy at -20 ℃ was about 200 J,and 180° internal and external bending tests were qualified,and the shear strength of stainless steel clad plate was average at 412 MPa. All the mechanical properties of this stainless steel clad plate 316L+Q370qD used for bride met the requirements of national standard GB/T 8165—2008. There was no intergranular corrosion found in the cladding stainless steel 316L tested in accordance with method E of national standard GB/T 4334—2008,so the cladding stainless steel 316L of 316L+Q370qD had good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
