Abstract:In order to improve the central line segregation of pipeline steel X65MS, the causes, form and harm of central segregation of slab are analyzed and focus on how chemical composition, superheat and dynamic soft reduction effected central segregation of X65MS acid pipeline steel in actual production. The results show that the central segregation can be improved greatly by dynamic soft reduction, and can be improved further by reducing the phosphorus mass fraction in the steel, reducing the superheat of the molten steel and ensuring the accuracy of the casting machine.
