Production experiments and analysis on blast furnace gas ash treatment with rotary kiln

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the characteristics of blast furnace gas ash and dust, the experiment on rotary kiln roasting process was conducted. The process conditions was determined through the basic measured data and calculated parameters of the process. The raw material temperature was (1100±100)℃, raw material retention time was (120±15) min and particle size was below 1mm. The results showed that under these conditions w(ZnO) of the collected zinc oxide powder was more than 29%, w(ZnO) of the collected kiln slag was less than 1.8% and dezincing rate was 74%. Therefore, the conditions can be use in iron separation and burdening.
