Abstract:The blistering of oxide scale at different temperature during heating was observed, the kinetics curve of the specimens after oxidation was plotted, the effects of different Si、P content on oxidation rate of scales during hot rolling strip were studied by experiment of oxidation simulating. The result shows that the small absolute blister appeared on the surface of the steels except steel C after oxidation at 1100 ℃ for 30 s, the oxide scale formed uniformly on the surface of all steels at 1100 ℃ for 120 s. The addition of Si content at temperature higher than 1000 ℃ promoted the scale blistering. When w(P)≤0005%, the scale blistering was suppressed at any temperature.
