Abstract:Blast furnace is a complex metallurgical reactor with gassolid counter flow. In order to understand, control and improve the blast furnace process, more efforts are made to develop mathematical models. In the past decades, the reactionkinetics models of total blast furnace have generally developed from onedimensional, stead state and simple models to multidimensional, transient and complex ones. Multifluid blast furnace model is one of the latest reactionkinetics models, which is based on multifluid theory and can make multidimensional treatment of infurnace phenomena and accurate prediction of operational parameters under the given conditions. The future models of blast furnace should be more complicated and applicable after enlarging simulation range and improving computation exactness.
