Abstract:In order to solve the problem of long-term exposure of bridge steel to sunlight, atmosphere, water and other media and short service life, which can not meet the needs of the development of modern railway transportation, it is urgent to develop and upgrade the weathering steel for bridge. The design of bridge weathering steel Q345qDNH with four components in accordance with the national bridge steel standard GB/T 714—2015 was introduced in detail, and by rolling in laboratory, the corresponding properties and metallography were obtained. And the circumferential immersion test of four experimental steels were carried out to find the corrosion resistance grade of each experimental steel. Through the comprehensive analysis of performance, metallography and corrosion resistance grade of different composition experimental steel, the melting composition of weathering steel Q345qDNH for bridge was determined, and the reasonable rolling and cooling process parameters were formulated through thermal simulation, and the weathering steel Q345qDNH for bridge with excellent performance was successfully developed.
