In order to investigate the suitable thermal deformation temperature for producing 13Cr supermartensitic stainless steel, hightemperature thermoplastic test and thermal compressive deformation test of 13Cr supermartensitic stainless steel at different temperatures with the strain rate remaining 2.5 s-1were carried out on Gleeble1500 thermal simulated test machine. The microstructures of the deformed specimens were observed and the reversed austenite content after tempering was detected. The results showed that the martensite lath bundle before tempering was thick and it was significantly refined after tempering. According to the hightemperature thermoplastic curve, the recrystallized microstructures during the thermal deformation and the reversed austenite content after tempering, it can be concluded that the proper deformation temperature of 13Cr supermartensitic stainless steel was 1 0501 150 ℃.
