Abstract:The No.1 blast furnace in Ningsteel was equipped with three internal combustion hot stoves, and a series of revamping work had been carried out since 2009. However, the partition wall bubbles appeared in No.3 hot stove since 2012 and the blast temperature of blast furnace could only be 1 050 ℃. According to the problems of the hot stoves for the No.1 blast furnace, a new top- combustion hot stove was built and composed a new hot stove group in which there were 3 internal- combustion hot stoves and 1 top- combustion hot stove. The operation results showed that the maximum blast temperature increased by 80 ℃ and the fuel ratio reduced by 20 kg/t, which ensured the safety, stability and economic production of No.1 blast furnace and provided the guarantee for fault handling or overhaul of a single hot stove as well.
