Abstract:The characteristics of the burden distribution way for No.4 blast furnace of 2 000 m3 in Liusteel were elaborated. In order to solve the problem that the blast furnace condition can be stable and smooth for a long time under the conditions of the common quality of the raw and fuel material and the maintenance production in the later stage of campaign, No.4 blast furnace adopted the way to distribute with a big angle and big angle difference of burden combined with the central coke charging. The key point was to properly suppress the edge air flow and develop the central air flow. The production practice of No.4 blast furnace in Liusteel showed that adopting the way to distribute with a big angle and big angle difference of burden combined with central coke charging made the edge relatively heavy and its cross beam temperature was below 150 ℃. However, due to the effects of the central coke charging, the central gas flow was stronger and the blast furnace was in good operation.
