Abstract:The effect of annealing time on the properties of Zr- 4 alloy tube was studied by means of high- temperature tensile test, uniform corrosion test, metallographic observation and second phase particle statistics. The results showed that by the annealing time from 3.5 to 5.5 h, mechanical property(tensile strength, yield strength and elongation) of Zr- 4 tube showed a similar trend. The grain size of the inner and outer layer of Zr- 4 tube were all of grade 11 without abnormal grain growth, and the size range of the second phase particle gradually increased.
