The mixed solution of sodium carbonate and calcium oxide removing the carbon dioxide from the simulate blast furnace gas was researched in laboratory. The study found that concentration of reaction solution, solution temperature, gas flow rate and the ratio of spraying height and liquid column height have effects on the removal rate of carbon dioxide. When the concentration of reaction solution is 0.6 mol/L, the gas flow rate is 0.5 m/s, the solu- tion temperature is 35℃, the ratio of liquid column height and spraying height is 1∶2, the maximum removal rate reached 59.53%.
