The steel industry gives rise to vast emissions of carbon dioxide in global. In order to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide and solve the energy source for metallurgy, we bring up the concept of metallurgy which doesn’t involve using carbon but depends on the complementation of solar energy and wind energy, in the hope of providing energy for Steel production by the technology of clean energy and achieving a metallurgical process without carbon. the metallurgical system is designed with four technical units. the theoretical calculation, simulation and the experimental results’ show that the system units each other meet the coordination and matching on energy and could obtain the metallurgical temperature more than 1600℃. The experimental results reach the desired expect. It’s an initial attempt by the integration of clean energy technology and metallurgical technology to solve problems about energy source and environment.
