Thermal power plant of Metallurgical Enterprise supply electricity for the enterprise also supplies heat for the enterprise. Used carbon emissions index of the unit energy products and the exergy analysis methods to evaluated the different heating mode of carbon emission status , the carbon emissions index is divided into two parts minimum emissions and additional emissions. The research indicated that combined heat and power achieve cascade utilization of energy and improve energy conservation coefficient, combined heat and power reduces the fossil energy consumption and reduces the carbon emission.
